I'm writing this from Bali

Hi Reader,

By the time this lands in your inbox, I'll be in Bali.

The last time I was there I was single, no kids, and deep in my Kundalini yoga and meditation phase. I spent the first half of the trip in full spiritual immersion and, because I've always loved a bit of balance, the second half drinking cocktails on the beach and dancing under the stars until the early hours of the morning.

Both halves were perfect.

That was a completely different chapter of my life. Different version of me. And yet somehow the same woman underneath it all, just with a lot more life packed in since then.

This time I'm arriving with a husband, two boys, and a wedding to celebrate. And I genuinely cannot wait to see what Bali looks like through this particular lens.

Some things don't change though. I can guarantee there will still be a dance floor involved at some point. That's just non-negotiable for me. 💃🏾

I'll be sharing the highlights when I'm back. I have a feeling it's going to be equal parts beautiful, chaotic, and everything in between.

In the meantime, I want to leave you with something to sit with this week.

There are places, people, and experiences we return to at different points in our lives. And sometimes the most useful thing isn't noticing how much has changed. It's noticing how much of you has stayed constant underneath all of it.

Who were you five years ago? Ten? And what's still true about her today?

That thread is worth following. It tends to lead somewhere important.

I'll be back in your inbox properly on the 3rd of July, rested and full of stories.

And I'm bringing something with me. Reset & Rise is on 24 July, 1.5 hours online for women who know something needs to change. I'll have all the details when I'm back.

If you want to be first to know when registration opens, just reply to this email with RESET and I'll make sure you hear about it before anyone else.

Take good care of yourself while I'm away.

Hi Reader, I'm really proud of something and I want to share it with you. I've finally got regular breaks built into my life. Properly built in. Not squeezed in around everything else. Not contingent on everything being done first. Actually scheduled, protected, and looked forward to. And our upcoming trip to Bali for a wedding has been the perfect excuse to celebrate that. Here's why this feels significant to me. There was a time when the thought of going away for a week would have sent me...

Hi Reader, The boys came home with their school photos this week. Anyone else wondering why these things take so long to come back? They had them taken in about the third week of term. It's been almost six months. I opened the envelope and just stopped. They looked so big. So grown. So much more themselves than the boys I dropped at the school gate back in February. And then the bigger realisation hit me. These photos were taken six months ago. They're even further along now than they were...

Hi Reader, I almost got completely swept away by a house this week. We've been quietly thinking about whether we need more space. The boys share a room and are starting to want their own, which works, but it leaves me without a dedicated office. So we've been toying with an extension or a move. Nothing urgent, just that low-level hum of "something needs to change eventually." And then this house came up. Beautiful. Move-in ready. No renovation needed. I went to see it and immediately called...
